After celebrating all the good that came from the gatherings, exchanges, and activities from the Networks across Latin America in 2014, we quickly moved into 2015 and already have news to report from the RdC in Guatemala!
Guatemala (Jan 21-23)
The Guatemala gathering had over 100 pastors and church leaders from throughout the country together for the annual national RdC Guatemala encounter, “The Dual Citizenship of a Disciple of Christ”.
National network leaders including Axel Patzun, Pamela Leon, and Rodolfo Rodas were joined by Costa Rican Network leader, Alberto Castro, for a time of biblical reflection on the mission of God and the role of the church. Other themes included the church’s response to violence, wholistic discipleship, and practical workshops to inspire, equip and encourage the local church in Guatemala.
Many of the participants were young leaders.
The Guatemalan Network is leading the way in the RdC Network movement by being intentional to raise up and learn from the next generation who will passionately carry out God’s call for restoration in the world. “Poverty is inevitable, misery is unacceptable,” insists Alberto Castro.
Let’s unite in prayer to support the growth and development of the Network in Guatemala, especially among the young leaders.
Please support the ongoing activities of this and the eight other Red del Camino Networks by investing in this important work. These leaders are catalyzing the church to be the change the world is hoping for!
