Catalytic Leadership

A gospel movement without borders

Avance exists to identify and walk alongside Latino catalytic leaders, forming networks in strategic cities across the United States and the Caribbean, and planting the platform for a gospel movement without borders.

Living Networks Connecting cities

Who We Are

We are a community of catalytic leaders in mutual support, helping to advance Hispanic gospel movements in cities across North America and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.

These networks become living platforms that connect leaders, strengthen the church, and open the way for a gospel movement that can extend throughout Latin America.

Our Values

Integral Mission

Emphasis on the apostolic vocation as generators and multipliers of gospel movements in urban centers that seek holistic renewal.

Diversity

Celebrating and learning from diverse denominational traditions, cultures, and generations, in the context of love and reconciliation.

Relational

Spiritual friendships of mutual support and learning centered on Jesus and his reconciling work, conveying vision, values, and strategies through trust.

Hispanicity

Affirm and celebrate our diverse Hispanic identities and theological heritage alongside and in collaboration with (not under) movements from other cultural groups.

What do we do?

Fellowship (koinonia)

A space for growing and deepening gospel community among catalytic leaders. This we accomplish through our bi-monthly virtual meetings and yearly in-person gatherings.

Trainings

  • Iglesia Floreciente: A one year training program (with an additional year of coaching) in church based community engagement.
  • Hispanic Catalytic Leaders Intensive: A bi-yearly 9 month intensive on CTC gospel and city vision DNA and MLC's (Movement Leaders Collective) MDna. Includes a one week immersion experience.
  • Compelling Preaching: A 5 month cohort based training to equip "an army of pastors and lay leaders" in Christ-centered preaching contextualized to the margins.

Training and Coaching

Support and coaching in Network Formation across the region.
